| Mary Pat Schenfeld Wood CPA, CEP, is the founder and principal of Green Zapato Consulting. Prior to founding Green Zapato, Mary Pat served as Assistant Controller–Financial Reporting of Prism Financial Corporation, a leading brick-and-mortar and online mortgage brokerage company, where she managed key aspects of Prism’s IPO and had responsibility for all of Prism’s securities filings. She also established the financial reporting, investor relations, stock administration, and planning and analysis departments at Prism. Prior to joining Prism, Mary Pat served as External Reporting Manager at PLATINUM technology International, inc., which was one of the largest independent software companies in the world. While at PLATINUM, Mary Pat prepared and filed all Securities and Exchange Commission reports, researched accounting and acquisition-related issues, supervised investor relations activities, and managed two securities offerings. Mary Pat’s career began as an auditor for KPMG LLP, where she supervised engagements and participated in an IPO. Mary Pat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from DePaul University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society, the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and the National Center for Employee Ownership.. She is also Vice President of the Young Irish Fellowship Club of Chicago, a charitable organization. |
